About Waterfrontier

In late of 2009 Scientists realized that there was a spreading of toxic gases throughout earth. Decades prior they had began a project to colonize Space and after this discovery the project was kicked into high gear. They believed they had enough time to secure the population and transport a good percentage of people to the colony which was named New Earth. Unfortunately by 2020 only about 10 percent of the population were transported, and the gases had become so strong that by the time the shuttle returned to Earth for more passengers, they found only the dead and dying. This was 25 years ago. Today we're in 2045 and everything has changed.

Throughout the first decade of our stay in Space scientists began mapping out areas and soon there were expeditions in attempt to find water. It didn't take long for corporations to lend their hand and money. One corporation did more than give a hand, they practically took over the expeditions. This company was Pandora Box. They originated the profession of Tankards and specifically of Cowboys once the Prometheus Pirates began attacking the expeditions. The main reason behind the attacks were that once the water was retrieved it was distributed unevenly, with the poor and needy at the bottom of the pyramid. Soon New Earth tried their hand at forming their own Tankard but the project was abandoned and later taken over by Mount Olympus which was a sports/technology based company. With the growth of the Tankard business, the Pirates also began to flourish. Soon another pirate crew formed.

The world isn't what it used to be, the prized possession is water and money and in some cases they can be traded off on an equal level. While Scientists search for a new home for mankind, they must battle through the conflicts they have created in space. Some claim we were better off trying to fend off fumes than each other but this is the hand we're dealt. Welcome to the Great frontier, where space exploration is the only way to survive.
