He was two years old when he and his immediate family were transported to New Earth. Much of his childhood was spent wondering about Earth, and being intrigued and enticed by the notion of traveling through space. His main aspiration is to be able to see Earth again. He has a younger brother named Dylan however they lost touch several years ago when Dylan was 12 and Jackie was 17. Jackie had run away from home after his father's death. At the age of twenty five he began traveling with tankard crew members once he obtained enough money. He's a restless spirit and has never been comfortable unless he was going places or learning things.

age ! forty-one yrs old rank ! tankard position ! navigator group ! heracles Albert was sixteen when he moved from Earth to New Earth. He left with his older sister and his parents. His sister was a nurse and his father was a scientist. Albert would follow his father to work every day, he learned about astronomy while spending his days in the library of his father's work place. He immediately wanted to be a Tankard but his father disapproved. Albert idolized his father and do whatever the man wanted him to do but when he heard that a navigator was needed specificially he signed up without telling his family and practically vanished for a couple years. When he returned however they were more than surprised to learn what he had done. His father was proud of him - which was surprising to him at that moment. Ever since that moment he knew 100% that he had found his calling. Albert is a witty man whose sense of humor is legend, not because he's funny but because his jokes are incredibly corny. He loves practical jokes and plays around with the crew and commoners all the time. Initially he worked for the Titans but they decided he wasn't professional enough. He found his place with the Heracles and has been enjoying the ride so far.

age ! twenty three yrs old rank ! pirate position ! gunner group ! socrates Jeff is a scoundrel, a user, a petty thief, a horrible human being, and yet he's one of the most charismatic people you'd ever meet. He does the most ruthless, underhanded things but his charm warms people right back up. Its' very difficult to dislike him for long but several people claim to never trust him. It's probably healthy to never believe a word he says. He twists the truth and does whatever benefits him no matter whose toes he steps on in the process. Jeff basically feels that one has to look out for themself. The only person he has ever cared for is his mother, and despite being such a jerk he really is a momma's boy and will routinely visit her no matter what danger he's in. He's always on the defensive.

He has a hard time engaging people in conversation and when he does it's usually drawn out with unneeded vocabulary and a ton of confusing and unneccessary metaphors. He was born on New Earth and lived much of his life fantasizing about what Earth could have looked like. Recently he was on one of the yearly expeditions to do testing on Old Earth and it didn't live up to his expectations but it did give him some excitement about finding a place that people can call a permanent home. Despite his expectations and goals he's actually a very shy, uncomfortable man who is cowardly and wimpish. Safety is the most important thing to him and if it isn't guaranteed he'd have an anxiety attack. Edwin is known for his anxiety and nerves but he truly is a caring, gentle man. He just may be a bit too sensitive for his own aspirations.

He was only ten when he was transported without his family to New Earth. As a youngster he was fascinated by the idea of cowboys, and while he lived with a foster family on New Earth he lived in his own universe - the kind that no one could penetrate, the kind that kept everyone far away. He's very quiet, very masculine, and dangerously aggressive when people engage him. His childhood wasn't depressing, although he did miss his family a great deal. He had a great foster family and grew up with excitement over this new way of living. When the opportunity of being a cowboy came he jumped at the opportunity. It has now been about seven years since he started and it's the only thing he can imagine doing for the rest of his life. He is a dedicated Tankard and has an intense hatred for pirates, especially because one of his foster brothers who joined alongside him was killed during attack on an expedition.

He was born on New Earth and has been disillusioned by the grand scheme of things - meaning he's completely fooled and bamboozled by the spectacular galactic-ness of everything. His father is a powerful figure in New Earth, and on old Earth had been a mayor. Rick was pushed into doing theatre because he didn't exactly have the brains for school. He started acting very early on and although he was never quite good at it he loved it and his father's influence kept him employed. He became one of the first few actors of a space opera. Most of his life was spent being a galactic Don Quioxote - imagining adventures and missions and somehow making the rest of his life fit his delusions. He frequently goes out on Tankard crews to experience the dangerous life that the galaxy has to offer. He sees the world in a completely different way than most people and is often made fun of for romanticising things but it's just his personality. Luckily for him people on New Earth who work with him are too weary of upsetting his father to say anything bad about him to his face. He may not be the smartest man in the world but he's an interesting chap. His obsession with old dead writers is disturbing, though - especially when he recites Shakespeare in his underwear while taking a tour of the ship. He's not your favorite person on board but his name is bound to show up anyway. |
