Rules
- USE REALISM Your character is not perfect. He or she does not have wings, rainbow eyes or prickly green skin. Because Waterfrontier is set in a future setting, there is a list of advanced technology. These are listed in the handbook page. In regards to the technology keep the usage down unless it's neccessary. Beyond this however please be aware of other characters and what they are capable of as well as the limitations of your own character. Flaws are what make humans human however not everyone is an emo or a nut-case. No character is omniscient and every action has a consequence of some kind.
- ACTIVITY Log in and interact as much as possible. The only activity rule is that when we have a check you must post your character (s) as well as their active thread (s).
- BE APPROPIATE No images portraying nudity are allowed. Threads involving mature content must notify members by editing the title; you can use 'mature', 'm', 'x-rated', etc. You must always warn the reader of content he or she may not want to see. Not all of us enjoy reading erotica literature.
- MAXIMUM CHARACTER LIMIT For the time being I would like to keep the maximum character limit at 3 characters per member.
- POSTING The minimum post limit is one full 8-10 sentence paragraph. Beyond this please mirror the post before you (for the sake of role play etiquette. Do not change the color of the font for dialogue or thought sections of your post; instead you can utilize: ', ", <i></i>, or <b></b>
- IMAGE USAGE Avartars are generally set at 100px width and 100px height. The profile picture should be at the size of 250px width and 300px height. Postscripts can only be used in your character planner thread. You can post your images/avatars in the 'Graphix Storage' in the Behind the scenes forum.
- FACE CLAIM The site doesn't have a mandatory face claim policy however if you decide on using on even if it's a random person in an image please post in the Face Claim page. If the name is unknown, we'll link to the image and use the name John Doe. No anime/drawing/cartoon/non-human images are allowed as face claims.
- ROLEPLAY NORM No godmoding, no powerplaying. Respect the admins as well as the other members.
- THREAD CLEANUPS If you need your thread to be deleted, replace the subject title of the thread to 'DELETE'. If your thread is finished, please post in the Finished Threads threads in the Important Information forum.
- READ Please read the information given to you! The ranks, the crews, the handbook, as well as the forums.
- APPLYING Fill out all the sections of the application. There is a minimum of 2 paragraphs.
- ENJOY Have a good time and use the artistic license.
